Apart from the wind and a heavy shower late morning, the MudSweatGears series on the 19th at Danbury got off to a good start, great turnout from the younger riders, which was nice to see at this sort of event, in fact a good mix of all abilities and ages turned up to enjoy a fast unrelenting course.
Charity Events
What a great time we had. Doing the Beastway the night before was probably not a good idea as it was 23.30 by the time we had got across London to the hotel in Surbiton. Only the non-riding organisers were still in the bar and Leon was on his way to bed. Ren and I managed to sneak in a quick 4 pints of Stella before heading to our room.
As it turned out, our first night would be spent sharing a tight double bed with me. After much giggling we fell a sleep in each other's arms.
Clothes
Whilst I'm sure the majority of the users of this
site have the bodies of gods & and goddesses and are gently
sun-kissed, the rest of us don't want to see it ok? That's why we have
clothes available: they're quite handy in the rain, wind and add a
layer between you and your saddle as well..
